Yup, USA, first 200 years of its republic. But supreme court judges who twist the "spirit" of tne constitution slowly yielded more power to the federal government. The framers of the constitution specifically designed it to set boundaries on the federal government, to chain its powers.

Another would be switzerland, very unique form of government. Look it up.

Then, hongkong and singapore during british occupation. The brits were too lazy to develop the economies of these countries, so for the mostpart, the locals engaged in an almost pure form of capitalism... thats the reason why hong kong has the balls to protest against china because they were used to being left alone. Singapore had lee kuan yew, who was a dictator really hpwever he did not afford himself powers needlessly. He had policies in the market that resembles free market capitalism that invited investots across the globe. Singapore, no respurces, no potable water, outpaced Mlayasia its motherland, by many folds. Hong kong ang singapore has the freeiest economies in SEA region for many decades. millions of people were able to lift themselves out of poverty, in less than half a generation, an unprecedented event in history on thosetimes.

Everything is transitory. Communism is a utopian dream incompatible with reality. afaik, it was deng xiao pengs liberation of market regulation that sparked china's progress, not communism. based on records, china was rich under communism on paper, but millions starved to death, simply because lower offivials often lie about their output. With billions of data to analyze, from cpsting, pricing, logistocs, and employment, communism prove rather slow to react. Same with the case of soviet russia. Thomas sowell was a communist apologist in USA for the earlier part of his life until he worked for the government, which made him compile studies of communiam around the world. He became a staunch defender of capitalism after. Communism even practiced in short periods woul yield nothing meaningfully progressive but just a bloated sense of empty achievement for those in power.

Lol. The great MAO starved millions of his people. when was the most recent large migration of chinese to the phil? During the time of great mao. If not for mao, chinese would be a significant minority in the phil. Nobody will every succeed in eliminating wealth gap. Unless, you try to mimic Pol Pot in executing many intelligent people at will to prevent one from being better in any aspect to others, no wealth gap. Of course, him and his men are exempted. Lol

I dont know what the allure of communism is, but they all seem to have this theme to their respective citizens, "we kill you because we care for you."
