    What's that supposed to mean? She didnt have to say it... look what people are saying about her now... She should have just kept her mouth shut.

    If personal attacks are all that they can come up with... I would say that they really don't have anything else to discredit JDV III.

    if anybody had a problem with what Luli said, then somebody should sue her.

    this thread ask for opinions, i gave mine. How is her statement suppose to change anything? Doesnt these kind of things define Philippine Politics? Colorful Politics. Was it immoral? I dont think so. dont get me wrong im not defending her.

    It is her right to defend her great father. I smell something fishy with this issue. The opposition will do anything to damage this progressing country. Just my cents!

    para drugs lang? daghan kaayo maayong laki sa kalibutan ni agi anang drugs. some people do drugs for recreation and that's their thing. the important thing is their credibility and integrity is in tact whether they were or are into drugs or not.

    on the other hand, whether the first gentleman is involved or not, i don't care as long as the broadband project is pushed through.

    my rationale? maayo na lang ma-implement ng broadband kaysa uban nga corrupt unya wala ta'y nakit-an like during erap's time and the big mouth opposition. ang pinuputok lang ng buchi nila kay dahil hindi sila ang nagka-pera.

    this is issue IS NOT about corruption actually but is about sourgraping.

    natural! ang mga arroyo gyud ang maka "commission" ani kay sila gud ang in power karon. para nako bahala na ug makakwarta sila at least naa ta'y makita just like the PIATCO issue. i am not saying what they are doing is good but compared sa opposition nga mas worst pa nga klase sa corruption ang uban involved pa ug drugs, kidnapping, prostitution, human smuggling, etc.

    the bottomline is, for me, it doesn't matter if the person is power is corrupt as long as naa ta'y makita kaysa corrupt nga wala ta'y makita totak corrupt man na silang tanan.

    Thank you for your opinion, bro.
    I expected to have a laugh with this thread since this issue with Luli Arroyo made me laugh.
    You're right, her statement didn't change anything probably with what happened but instead gave the opposition enough ammunition to make her a laughing stock.
    On one hand I admire her for trying to defend her father but on the other I feel so sorry for her for failing miserably.
    Like you said - Philippine politics sure's colorful indeed and even weird for that matter. But that's the Filipino in all of us. We see something funny in everything even in matters like corruption and plunder. Maybe that's how we cope with all the political problems we're having. Too much politics ! Everybody should just put their act together and do the job they're paid to do.
    I wonder if we will still be laughing if and when ( God forbid ) our country goes to the dogs.

    @cebu_future

    So sorry if you feel I'm out to do damage to this country. I love my country dearly. I don't need to do any damage to it because those clowns we call politicians are doing it very well and they don't need my help.
    You must be smelling something fishy from elsewhere cause I can assure you it's not here with my thread !

    Bai I didn't say anything about your thread. What I meant was about this issue, this broadband issue. Sorry if you find my post offensive to you, sorry really. For me, our politicians should focus more on what is beneficial for the Filipinos. We are being left behind by other asian countries who used to be least progressing but now ahead of us progressing.

    Thanks

    @cebu-future

    Ok bro. Nice to know we're on the same wavelength where our country is concerned. I am not pro-admin nor am I pro-opposition. I am pro-Filipino.
    You're right. I find it hard at times to explain what's happening to our country to non- Filipinos specially where politics' concerned. It's a shame what's happening to our country. I don't usually dwell on it cause it's stressful. We all need to lighten up. That's why I love to just find ways to laugh and avoid a heart attack. lol
    Thanks too for posting !

    I am more on what benefits this ZTE can give to the Philippines. It is better than having $330 million goes to swiss account of some politicians out there. The question is, is their service worth $330 million? Do we need their service?
