Graft and corruption had to be stopped.
Proper allocation of our taxes should be established.
Overhaul of the education system - quality over quantity
More livelihood projects using our own resources so
poverty and crimes will be alleviated.

In order to do this, get all the bad apples in the basket first.

Funny how we cannot think outside the box. We keep on chanting the very things politicians have promised... the goal is unimportant as to the way it is being achieved, more often, blinded by a goal, we cause many unintended consequence that far outweighs the original problem.

Eliminating corruption has a simple step, reduce government size and power. As per Frederic Bastiat, it is useless to have monitors in government, as they eventually become part of the problem. He expressed it as, who monitors the monitor? Who monitors the monitor who monitors the monitor? Or something to that effect.

Education is indeed key but how do we improve it? The US have filled billions of dollars to its education system with a regressive effect. Oops, meaning not only did quality of education not improve, it even is deteriorating. some experts believe, competition is key. Competition of students and teachers. and also, we are destroying our future generations competitiveness by using local dialects in teachinh science and math. Singapore is filled with many ethnicities, but only English is used as mandatory medium of instruction, dialects are left to the preference of families and communities. We increased budget for a regressive practice of educating our next generation.

As to the right people in government, people always aspire to have angels and magicians as their leaders, someone who can bring all good ignoring the economics and reality, just like merlin conjuring a rabbit from a hat. Milton Friedman, Nobel Awardee for economics, said in a phil donahue interview in 1980's, to eliminate corruption, create an incentive that even the wrong people elected would do the right thing. Which is really impossible. So i think, Bastiat's The Law provide a basic operational framework on eliminating corruption, small government and clear boundaries on what can be legislated. i dont know if this will create incentives for wrong people to do the right thing, but it definitely reduces the incentive of attracting wrong people in the first place as well as preventing the right people to become the wrong people.

As for poverty, simple. Ease market regulations, decrease trade barriers. Basically, stepping out of the way of opportunities. And, most important, letting people keep most of their hard earned money by keeping taxes low, which is compatible with a small government. Keep the money on the economy, not on governments pockets.

First declare martial law, then apply the ideals of communism.

My first few Presidential Decrees will be:

1.) Travel ban to all Filipino Citizens (specially tsinoys) .
    2.) Scrutinize all bank accounts
3.) Bring all bank accounts abroad back in the country.
5.) Distribute all the wealth evenly using this simple formula:

Total Wealth / Total populace = Wealth of each person including government officials (minors' shares will be put into trust funds)

6.) Lastly but not the least...Ang tanang mosupak, ang ulo, pahak.
