^ naka OC'ed pa gyud ang components ana bro keropi, dba? mapul-an na lang ta's PSU nato ani, dli gyud ni sila maguba dayon... hehehe... the same aning CM 420W PSU nko, puol na kaayo'g nawong... raw Al pa gyud ang color sa PSU shell nya... boring kaayo tan-awon... 2007 pa man ni & still kickin... running 24/7 pa gyud on one of my FreeNAS server... nag serve ni sya in providing juice to my previous gaming rig [2007 ~ 2008], then on the general PC (moDT) running 24/7 then to FreeNAS server running 24/7 pud... kanua-a man ni sya maguba woi... ehehehe...
personally, dli gyud ko choosy aning mga PSU... pero dha sa atoa, like sa Cebu in particular, mas preferred nko na mo palit ug PSU na dali ra pag avail sa warranty claim... like sa mga brands na gi carry sa Fineupgrades ug uban pa na PSU brands na dali ra pag claim ug warranty... ug affordable lang pud... pero, kun naa'y mga nice deals dha, akoang spank-kon pud dayon... like last month, atong dha ko, naka spank ko'g Corsair VS550. barato ra man baligya ni bro L!ck!ty Spl!t... plan nako on that PSU is to provide juice for the upcoming FreeNAS server nila's balay... i'll install 12 TB of storage (6 x 2 TB) on that file server...

for a semi-modular PSU, offerings from Coolermaster & Thermaltake ang mas ubos ug prices... kun priority nimo ang easy warranty claim, check the other brands na dali pag claim sa warranty... solid example ani kay ang mga SilverStone PSUs... dali ra kaayo pag claimsa Fineupgrades... medyo, mahal2x lang gyud ni sila... even ang SilverStone PSU na purchase from outside the Philippines, naka tabang ang Fineupgrades ug claim sa warranty... mao ni ang info na gi share ni bro fineupgrades nato diri on one of the discussion thread diri sa istorya...
anyhow, naa pud mga brands na dali ra pag claim sa warranty... Seasonic is one... naa'y naka claim pud diri'g warranty...
about the "full-modular" PSUs, taas2x ni sila'g mga prices compared sa "semi-modular" siblings nila... check pud sa availability ani dha. basin, naa ka'y ma trip-pan then ok ra sa budget pud...

by the way, akoang gi-share balik diri ning mini-ITX rig sa akoang anak... proof ni sya na kumbate ra nang mga low wattage PSU basta lang, dili pataka'g butang sa DC load (components)... kun butangan ug GPU na mamaw mo suyop ug power then mo hagtos ang PSU, aw, atoa na nang sala... hehehe...
this rig's configuration is considered to be a main-stream rig or an entry-level gaming rig...
