I detest this comment, this is an insult to the gentle and humble sloth...

anyway, what concerns me is that he is not really a practicing economist, so aside from his strong willed and discipline.. how can he focus significantly on our economy.

His predecessors were or have studied economics.. any thoughts?

I think businesses are already flourishing in Davao City apparently due to his stand on safety and security. He just needs to make the cost of doing business here easier at the same time use his expertise in crime prevention.

But for some technicalities concerning the economy he will have to do with his advisers. I do hope he chooses them wisely.
