That's why the theory of evolution is still inconclusive since there is still insufficient evidence to back it up. As per definition of theory which means it can still be proven wrong, hence inconclusive.
i highly dispute that, the theory itself is not inconclusive, because we are able to observe it under the microscope, and in controlled laboratories.. however, when talking about evolution specie to specie, there is no observable evidence on that, we can only somehow speculate, dig, and find fossils,. and so far there are speculations that have been proved.. but sadly not conclusive enough for everyone..
