“If the peace process can’t go through in June then it means war. Twelve years of talks and because of one incident, they will have war,” Hishammuddin said

We need a strong leader I agree sa mga previous post.
More than that, we need a wise voter and patriotic voters.

Yes that's true during the 50's, America supplied almost 90% of our hardwares but during the late sixties, we were supplying our own. I'm not trying to paint pink on Marcos and tag him as the greatest ever. He had pitfalls, but he had achievements as well. Dubbed as Marcos' greatest success involving the military, Macoy signed the 1974 Presidential Decree 415, known as the Self-Reliant Defense Posture (SRDP) Law. SRDP served as the necessary mandate to uphold the sovereignty of the state through non-dependent protection of the national territory. Its underlying mission was to develop a local defense industry to support material requirements of the AFP. We had 15 corporations as members of the Philippine Defense Industries supplying military hardware to the AFP.

With this military law and power we had, we could go to war with any nation in Europe and win (except UK and Russia).
