Do you think a hardened criminal who have robbed, harassed people for years even with witnesses around needs a trial that will cost time plus thousands of pesos on government funds, not including the taxpayer money required to feed or house them?

This thread is about Amal Clooney representing GMA's case to the UN. You were bitching as to why Amal chose GMA while [I]"there are more persecuted Filipinos than Mrs. Arroyo. There are more who were robbed, oppressed, abused and even killed. So what's the point?".

Let me clear this up. I'm not contradicting Mrs. Clooney's action on why she's interested with Arroyo's case. I'm only expressing the idea that there's an "elephant in the room" that everyone's neglecting. There are bigger human rights violations that's not being addressed by any UN body. (e.g. Hacienda Luisita Massacre, Maguindanao Massacre, misuse of charity funds,etc...)
