It's been a long ass while since the last time I visited istorya and to be able to see a thread that does not impose judgment or facilitate scrutiny towards people who appreciate themselves and are not shy to share their self-appreciation to the rest of the world is such a relief. Thank you TS for naming this thread as a "Self Portrait" thread and not the "Selfie" thread. To me there is a difference between taking a selfie and taking a self portrait. A self portrait is taking a picture of yourself because you consider yourself as a work of art, that there is a certain depth of passion or expression that is something that is interpreted beyond its literal sense while taking a selfie is simply taking a picture of yourself just because.

Well that's just me.
