Naay kausaban? I would have put my money on a card first.

Most games (the game processes itself) still use no more than 2gb. Ram hungry games dont really require that much ram rather they just take advantage of as much available ram by cacheing maps on ram.

I have played CoD ghosts on 4gb pretty fine using a ram fix

My system on Farcry 4

Idle (with some optimizations, idle can be @ 1-1.2gb)


At FC4 load (if i disable background processes like apple, chrome updates, google earth updates, adobe whatnots, etc etc, should be around 3.5gb, if you have 4gb ram, these least priority background processes will be terminated)



Check FC4 process usage + say 1gb for nvidia processes = 2.5gb for the game



Its all about how you manage unwanted processes in your pc.
