Are you supporting federalism, what can you say about BBL?

Ako im a big supporter of federalism. Before the Mamasapano incident I was hopeful na madayun ang BBL kay nindot ni nga pamaagi sa pagsugod sa federalismo.

After the incident na hanap man ang tanan tungod sa mga factors nga ang ka deal diay sa gobyerno wa man diay ni sila nagtinarong. While naghuwat nga mapasar ang BBL nag kop kop man pod man diay ni sila og mga terorista.

kamo unsa kahay maayong solution ani?

di ba ma conflict sa imong conviction nga ganahan ka og federalism but di ka ganahan madayun ang BBL?

with all due respect, i wonder where did you get the idea that the proposed bangsamoro basic law will establish a federal system of government. Sec.1, Art. II, of the Constitution provides:
"The Philippines is a democratic and republican State. Sovereignty resides in the people and all government authority emanates from them."

Before we adopt federal form of government, we have to enrich the regions through attracting bulks of foreign direct investments which is impossible within the current system due to forced 60/40 equity ownership sharing of businesses and land.

Federal form of government has to be adopted eventually because it is difficult for Manila to manage the internal affairs of regions due to infrastructure problems, geography, language, or culture. Cebu and Bangsamoro for many years have resentment of Manila's interference in regional affairs no wonder MILF proposed a psuedo-federal BBL in order to be regionally independent from Manila. Cebu has been advocating federal form of government especially way back during Lito Osmeña candidacy for president in 1998 but never prospered.

We have to accept the fact that we are not one people one nation country unlike Japan or Korea, no wonder it would be difficult for Filipinos to express national loyalty over regional or familial one. Our cultural and linguistic diversities are the reason on why unitary form of government will never work in the country.

Ang BBL stepping stone siya sa federalism pero dili ko uyon ipasar ang BBL kay gideem man gud ang present nga ARMM nga abolished nga only possible through constitutional amendment. BBL or federalism in general need constitutional revision.

i agree with you that introducing a federal system under our present presidential, unitary system needs a constitutional amendment, but i beg to disagree (without being disagreeable) that the abolition of the ARMM, just like what congressman pablo garcia argues, to be valid there must be a constitutional amendment (amendment when only piecemeal change; revision when when there is overhaul or rewriting of the fundamental law).

the proposed bangsamoro basic law has really brought to the fore two questions that beg to be answered. first, whether or not the passage of this measure is the panacea to the festering moro insurgency in mindanao. second, whether or not it can pass muster the parameters set by our Constitution. the first question deals with wisdom of the bbl; the second speaks of the constitutionality of the bbl.

i can recall a good way to describe him btw, "Super-High IQ= Super-Low Common Sense"

It is not the presence of novel or seemingly foolish ideas that makes one silly, it is the absence of the ability to appropriately apply those novel ideas to the social situation at hand- what we call using common sense.
