People don't visit the place as it's quite remote & dangerous, specially when its raining. And monkeys that converge on the place to eat don't like human visitors. You're very likely bound to be thrown at & hit about by rocks thrown by these primates.

Last time i visited the place was last new year's day to fish. The trip ended abruptly when i got literally bloody stoned out of the place, by monkeys, with coconut-sized rocks.

I'll have to look for the other photos.[/quote]

Lesson learned... Everytime i visit the place then to relax, take a dip & fish... Is that i always bring with me 7 wear a rated helmet & a bouyancy aid / flotation device. Not only would it help me float (helmet & fd), but it also keep the small rocks from penetrating into my head & torso, as well as protect me from anything that would fall upon me or be thrown at me from above.

Now, if you can only image how i'd look. A bloody bloke knee-deep alone in this churning wall'o water, wearing a helmet, a vest & carrying a fishing rod... Definitely would make you think i'm a looney... hehehe

Sorry mate, i'm nowhere near that looney nutcase... He's just a showoff, if you ask me.
I'm not doing anything to prove anything to anyone else. I'm doing it because I CAN.

i do hope they learned their lesson. they should have never gone there without a guide, not to mention not one of them know SRT that well..

Their predicament started at around 6pm, i got there around past 7pm. Then a rescue group from CEVSAR got there and started their rescue after 9pm, but they got lost too.. Finally, the group from Superfriends and USC-M (who were conducting cave orientation then) got o the place past 12mn and the rescue concluded past 7am the next day..
murag kasagaran nasaag ato kay taga PhilSCA if i remember correctly kay mga schoolmates man to nako.

great pics by the way. nature at its best.

Ni hubas na ang udlom falls. We checked last Sunday from our overnight stay ant Hidden Valley Mountain Resort. It will only fall when there is rain, which our local tour guide said.

the other one, Sinangkulan Falls is still flowing but very dirty, lots of junk food wrappers being washed away.
