I want to start my own jewelry business also. I'm in UAE right now, gold is priced reasonably here kay base jud siya sa Karats and grams unlike sa atoa mo matter ang face-value sa alahas. Me and my husband are into buying the jewelries right now. But we realized its better to invest on little gold bars(bullions) which are available here. So that if naa na design that we like we'll just find someone to craft it for a minimal price, compared na mo buy ka ready-made jewelry.

Same here, sis but let me correct you on one point: Ang value dili lang base sa weight sa jewelry although ug mopalit ka igcompute sa jewellers based on the current Gold rate but if imo jud tukion and you will also do your calculations at the same time before paying ma notice nimo ang result is not exactly per grm rate kay mo-add on man sila gamay for craftmanship charges.Labi nah if ang design sa alahas mga signatures like Versace, Chanel, LV atbp.Mas costly ang craftmanship charge aneh.

Our edge lang sa quality sa gold dris mid-east kay pure gyud dili compounded unlike sa dras Pinas 18K pero sinaglan sinubong.

Kinsay nakasuway or currently engaged into small scale Jewelry business ( buy and sell)?

Dugay naman gud ko gaplano moventure aneh nga type of biz kaso kuwang lang kos know how.

Let's say mo-start kog 5 ka piraso of 18K, pair of earrings or rings.
Ibutang nato ug ang cost per piece is 3thou gross.
Reasonable ra bah ug ako margin sa add-on is 10% per piece?
Naa koy trusted friend ako ge-offeran unya interesado sya.
Ako proposal mo dp sya nako upon delivery of goods.
If iya DP is 30% remaining balance is payable within 3 mos.
If 50% then payable within 6 mos.

My concern is ...unsaon man namo pagpresyo ang goods? Are we to based it on current gold rate sa world market or automatic add on sa profit?
