How can you sell them "peace" when the leaders of their faction do not have control of their soldiers? If you have to sell "peace" to them , then you have to do it "door to door" to all of them(the leaders,soldiers,their families , their wives..etc..). Not just give them some piece of paper or a draft like the bangsamoro bill.
The problem with peace is not with us...it is with THEM. The government have been selling them "peace" for such a long time that it has become a joke to them. Many of our governments military,police and civilian have been victims of this "failed peace."
How many more massacres will we have to endure? How can you sell them the idea of "peace" when these kind people mutilate and desicrate even the dead bodies of fallen soldiers? Have you seen the photos of fallen 44? Can you expect such kind of people to understand peace?
So, how do you propose this should be solved? I hope you are not thinking of all-out-war again.
If so, sorry again that I would have to beg to differ. It's a vicious cycle of war vs. peace. I'm against war and pro-peace. Let's just settle at that.
Condolence to the fallen 44. May their lives lay the foundation of long-lasting peace on that part of this country.
