It always helps to read and understand where one thing came out from. Reading Karl DeRouen's Civil Wars of the World: Major Conflicts since World War II ( 2 Volume set) on page 617.

Maybe would somehow enlighten people what caused this war over in Mindanao. Of course it doesn't help, when this conflict is fueled with religion and enjoined with officials with ulterior motives.
