um, ani man pud na. walay pugsanay. if duda ka na gamiton ug "so-and-so" and feel nimo di muhatag tungod ana, then ayaw nalang hatag. kesa muhatag ka then nagumbol diay ka diba? pede bitaw ta makatabang in other ways. di ba brothers and sisters?

para sa ako lang ang collection is not really an offering to God but more of sharing to others wat u hav...main purpose cguro na2 in going to church is to praise and worship God dba...i don't think gi himo na sa Ginoo ug compulsory ang pag hatag taga offering...para nako kada mo hatag ko sa offering wa na nako gibuhat tungod kay para na sa Ginoo but bcoz im willing to share...bsan pa ato e sulti pang allowance na sa pari or para na kang so and so or who cares kung asa na nila gamiton basta kita ato na gihatag para makatabang ta dba? but watever reason ngano mo hatag ta para sa offering let's just thnk about it this way...

1st collection - para sa mga sayo nanimba nga nakasugod sa mass.
2nd collection - para sa mga na late......or pwede pud pang bayad sa additional power consumption sa church dba!

based on my personal experience, bsan sa U.S. na Catholic church nga naka attend ko ug mass naa pod 2nd collection.

i think fair taxes should be imposed to the church prar fair but then we cannot trust also our govt kung pasaka-an ang taxes sa church kay im sure mu-hulog rana sa bulsa sa govt officials nato.. well hmm let me think.. there should be an NGO that should monitor collection made by the people to the church and everything should be accounted for. kay dili bya lalim ang kwarta nga ipanghatag..

para sa akoa it doesn't really matter kng asa na padulong as long as u give...kay kung imo pa na kuri-kurion...mura ka lng hinuon naghatag unya mangayo resibo paghuman hehehe

Come to think of it ... its DONATION, you are not OBLIGED to give. The church is only asking for some kind hearted souls for donation, if it burdens you to shed a single peso during collections, then don't. In some religions, donations are mandatory. Even in European countries, there this thing called Church Tax (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_tax) which acts like an income tax for the individual, part of your income goes directly to the church.
