no your getting it all wrong sir. kita ghapon, but the salvation we get to received from the kindness of GOD propel us to do things as HE pleases and part of it is good works. kita ghapon sir. it is not like we will be possessed for someone else to do things for us.

mura sab ba that if we love our girlfriend or wife, we want to give freely, flowers, chocolates, rings that will surprise or elate the one we love, automatic na, as we see our wife happy, we become happy as well.

the same as with good works, as we understand how undeserving we are of that salvation, and what the LORD have to undergo and give up for our, for my sake, just for me to be saved, then doing things that pleases the LORD GOD Almighty is but a natural thing to do, and that includes your good works sir.

we were talking of genuine salvation, a salvation that causes transformation, Life changing. that propel the saved to do more of good works.
dili nga magpatuyang kay saved na. only fools will think about that. and it was not genuine salvation because superficial lang na, it didn't make a complete 180 turn around from what we are used to be.
If a person says He is saved and continue on sinning, a life that has no change then that is not salvation. for salvation as i have said causes complete change from a sinful life to a GODly life. a life that is offered as a living sacrifice to GOD, that sinning becomes more of a burden and a heaviness in one spirit. convicted by the HOLY SPIRIT, called unto continuous repentance and worship to GOD.

Once More:

We are saved by grace thru faith and not by our good works.

now that we are saved, it causes a complete transformation, a 180 degree change from what we used to be to a new person that is always ready to give GOD the praise HE deserve.

this genuine salvation causes people to do good works for the glory of GOD. and continue to do the same good works as part of character transformation brought about by the genuine salvation.

if we are not saved or have embrace salvation are we still able to do good works -------------- YES!

but will it be justified and honored by GOD as a way to salvation? ------------------- NO!

for again salvation is by grace through faith

we will no longer be happy with sin as brought about by our genuine salvation and therefore we do good things more and more for the glory of GOD.
