ok. what next? a free wall for vandalism? puh-leeze. pandering to the masses is a common trait amongst politicians. If this "skate park" were really taking kids and their love of skating off the streets, what will stop them from using that place as a drug den?

dear skaters,

i'm a resident of opon. at first we where so bummed about how it turned out. a lot of flaws in the design. cguro wala jud ni consult ang government ug skateboarder (not longboarder, not penny board rider). dili siya street course and majority bya sa mga skater diris cebu kay street skater. pero unsaon taman wala man ta mahimu gobyerno man ga buot ug katong gi saligan sa pagpahimu sa park. pero it doesnt mean it is not skatable right. and it is FREE. and you can go there anytime until 10pm where the lights will be off. it may not be the best park but i'm sure this will open the eyes of other neighboring city that there is indeed too much basketball courts and they should build skateparks. and finally naa nay home ang mga skaters sa lapu-lapu. ug mugamay na ang mga samok na skater sa dan. salamat mayor paz radaza ug dandoy tongco. siya ang rason ngano gihimu an ta ug skatepark. enjoy nalang ta and hopefully mudaghan ang skatepark sa cebu. peace. Let's go skate.
