dili true na if dili breastfed ang baby kay ma low ang IQ. maka help ang breastfeeding achieve sa maximum IQ potential sa imo child.
ang benefits sa breastfeeding kay dili lang sa anak, pati sa mama - lowers risk of some cancers.
mo encourage gyud ko you continue breastfeeding your child. kay naa na antibodies to protect your child. there is what we call the enteromommary pathway - if naa sakit ang mama like colds or cough or if naa sakit ang baby, mag produce ug antibodies sa milk para sa baby.

There is a herbal supplement para breast feeding moms... try fenugreek. if low jud imong milking replenishment. For Soups mas maayo kanang tinola, kanang daghan tomato gi lamas. Tomato juice pud nindot para milking replenishment.
And downside lang pud is mood swings.
as a mom of 4, and i have breastfed all 4 of them, i would say milk, soup specifically malunggay, and fruits.
my youngest now is 33 mos and until now, i am still breastfeeding him.
sometimes bitaw inig mag pa dede ko sa iya, i'd ask him, mommy still has milk? mag shake sya sa iya head... hehehe
but i tried asking our pedia, once in a while, pa check up man ang kids, di man na mag breastfeed ang baby or toddler if wala makuha, so maskin konti na lang, naa pa jud yan.
eat healthy lang jud sis...esp ikaw na you just gave birth, the body of a new mom is quite 'amazing'
also, help yourself physically...you jsut gave birth pud, so your immune system is kinda low, your body's calcium will lessen kay mag breastfeed baya ka, it will lessen the production of calcium to your teeth ...so as much as possible increase imo calcium intake, rest well, have a healthy dose of Vitamin C and eat lots of veggies and fruits.
ako personally, di jud ko pala gulay...murag kasukaon ko ug gulay hehehe...so sa fruits ko mag banat...klase2 jud ako kaonon plus dapat naa jud fruits sa house...banana, watermelon, melon, guyabano, guava, apple, ponkan, rambutan, lansones, pineapple, mangosteen...kana jud..sige sige jud ko ug prutas...
and i think, most importantly, mao siguro sige pa gihapon ako toddler ug breastfeed kay wala jud ko ni stop...maskin night shift ko and naa supplement milk ako youngest, basta padung na sleep together, mag breastfeed ko.
