Mura ra na ug pangutana nga, "Limpyo na ba ka?"

Ang tubang is, limpyo karong buntaga kay mana man ug ligo, pero after sa office at the end of the day kay maligo na pud kay, tagiptipon naman pud ko.

In other words, being limpyo is not a one time activity, its a continuing activity. It implies that humans are not perfect and are bound to fail somewhere on the course of his life. But in failing there is learning, and in failing one must rise again to live up to the challenge.
Pero kung kandingon ka, aw antosa ang imong pagkabulingit. "Lihok tawo kay tabangan teka".

What am I doing here? I am writing.
So stop writing because its a work, dba gibuhat na tanan ni Christ matud pa nimo.
Naa pa gani ka topic diri nga GOSPEL HALL and you claim that its an evangelization.
Thus your evangelization (let us accept for the sake of argument) is a good works?

Do good works not just faith

Where in the bible is this statement:
Christians are justified and saved to do good works. They are not however, justified before God by good works.?

    a) Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
We've discussed this before but I'm willing to discuss it again.

There are two types of application when the word saved/save is used.
The past tense saved is used when it discussed about sins.
just try to read verse 5 of ephesians 2.

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved

Because in order for us to do good works we must be saved from sins and that only happened during or after baptism.

That is why on verses 8-10 it says:
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

not by our works we are saved from sins but through the grace of God with Christ through baptism.
"created in Christ Jesus unto good works" is not clear unto you.
you've used other translation that replaces "unto good works" with "for good works" its still the same.
We're created unto/for good works, so our obligation in this world is to do good works.

With this understanding of yours, OSAS came out.
Because in this your members will believed that through faith alone we are forever save even we failed to do good works and even we commit sins unto death, its different from what apostle John said:

16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.1 John 5:16

Heb 4:10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.
Mt 11:28 "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
    Is this a physical rest?
Before we knew Christ we are all sinners that is why when we will enter through Christ we will ceased from our own works.

and when you quote matthew 11:28 continue it until verse 30.

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

on 29 we must learn through Christ to change our own works because its not good. and the rest is for our souls not physical rest.

that is why before Christ went up to heaven He told the apostles:

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
    Matthew 28:19-20

The apostles will teach so that we will know that our own works is not good and we should know that we are created in Christ unto good works.

Ah yes. Obedience to the will of God is not optional when one has become justified before God through faith alone in Christ alone. When one has become justified before God by faith alone in Christ alone the Holy Spirit came to indwell him, resulting in the fruits of the Spirit, if he walks in the Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit, one of them is love. And love is the fulfilling of the Law of Christ.
It is not my love to God that saves and justifies me. It is His love for me as seen in Calvary.

So your love is just a one way relationship.
Its a gave and take relationship, God will love us if we love God.
If we neglect God He will neglect us also.

Are you sure that the Holy Spirit that dwells in Christians will not be taken away? that for you to say (born-again movement who belived on OSAS) that all of you are justified and saved already?

How come the apostles and God said:

22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Matthew 10:22

38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. Hebrew 10:38-39

Its clear to me now that your definition of FAITH is not with the accordance of the bible.
FAITH is combined with works, patience, love and hope.

    Yes. I know.
So why did you use it just to show that we don't need to do works and just have faith (through mouth) alone.

18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. James 2:18.

    a) I never said anything that every occurrence of the word “Law” in the Bible refers to the Law of Moses. Gentiles have a law but it is not the Law of Moses. But neither of it justifies before God. It is through Christ’s work alone that justifies.
So you mean to say that the Law is useless because it will not justify to those who follow the Law of Christ given through the APostles?

It is through Christ’s work alone that justifies.
Can you give me the verse/verses of this statement?

All to whom Christ gives His Law are those who have already been justified by faith in Him.
Can you give me the verse/verses of this statement?

Christians are not saved by their own good works but BY THE GOOD WORK OF CHRIST ON THE CROSS.
Can you give me the verse/verses of this statement?

    a) Christians are freed from condemnation not because of anything meritorious they did for God. But simply because of the fact that they are IN CHRIST. IN Christ there is no condemnation because IN CHRIST is forgiveness and redemption.
What do you mean by "IN CHRIST"?
IS there no possibility that those who are "IN CHRIST" will be astray or will leave with CHRIST?

But for now, Christians are enjoying that eternal blessing of everlasting salvation.
Where in the verses of the bible that Christians are enjoying that eternal blessings of everlasting salvation?

    a) I think this is basic: escape does not mean cleansed. One can escape the influence of the world outwardly but never cleansed from the corruption and evil in his heart.
Really? so this is just your personal thought that escape does not mean cleansed?
because if you've escaped from pollution it follows that you're cleansed or cleaned because it makes no sense if you have escaped then you still do the things you do before that makes you pollute.

    Acts 16:30-31:
And he brought them out and said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
So they said, "CONTINUE on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved,

[Continue? How can he continue he has not even began yet in the Christian life?]

Bro naa pud diay ka pagkapilosopo.

The word believe on Acts 16:31 is being defined by Christ on John 8:31

    31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

    So asa ko mas mutuo?
The totallity meaning of "BELIEVE" is to continue as what Christ explain.

because there are people knows CHRIST through their mouth only.

16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. Titus 1:16

    Peace!
