@Hyber: did you transfer to Globe? I would have picked Globe before but I didn't need the fone line and don't want to pay for it, same with PLDT

i beg to disagree to that, in the legal sense of obligations and contract, the INITIAL agreement STANDS as the FINAL agreement not unless in the concurrence of the other party. MERIDIAN in any sense DOES NOT HAVE the right to change any services fore provided. if such service/benifit of open port 21 was previously agreed upon(and payed) then its the DUTY of MERIDIAN the fullfilment of such services as provided by the intital contract. OTHERWISE it is a BREACH. therefore, those who subscribed to MERIDIAN and FEELS that they are still BINDED by the lock up period(as stipulated in the contract) then this is high time for the dissolution of said contract since its MERIDIAN's flaw or initial breach occur.

tsk.. tsk.. too bad,.. i was about to sign up for the service.. and too GOOD i didnt! (",) no offense meant. no cost.

well, I hope this wakes Meridian up, what I'm really wondering is the constant downtime, why can't they just buy good routers and everything...
