It might take more time for Alaska to regain the glory that was once theirs. Lisod pud ang uban teams karon, especially San Miguel, Ginebra, Talk N' Text and even Air21 and Purefoods. With the caliber of players other teams have and the level of competition in the PBA right now, Alaska has to groom their players even way better than the Johnny Abarrientos, Jojo Lastimosa, Bong Hawkins and Kenneth Duremdes era. Plus they need a super import like Sean Chambers to totally dominate the entire season. Rosell Ellis?

Still coached by one of the PBA's winningest coach Tim Cone and assisted by ex-players Bong Hawkins, Jojo Lastimosa and Dickie Bachmann who was once part of the dominant 90's Grand Slam Alaska Milkmen team, the Aces also welcomed back to their fold former assistant Joel Banal.

Others who are fighting for slots in the team are Christian Luanzon and Aaron Aban
