Waze Community-Based Traffic and Navigation App

Has anyone heard about Waze? For those that haven't, here's a bit of info.

Waze is a free mobile navigation application for your iphone or android that allows drivers to build and use live maps, real-time traffic updates and turn-by-turn navigation to improve their daily commute.

I have recently downloaded this app on my android device, but it also has an iOS version. From what I have experienced so far, it is very useful. Gamay ra users sa Cebu for now, pero katong mga users or what the app calls as "Wazers" use the app to report areas that have moderate or heavy traffic. So if driving or commute ka, you can avoid these routes and look for alternative ways nga dili grabe ang traffic.

You can also report if a road is closed kay naa ba kaha construction or something. If dili ka mureport, Waze will automatically get your travelling speed and report it for that area so that others will be aware kung hinay or paspas ang dagan dihang dapita.

Community based ni nga app so the more people using this, the better.

Note if you are concerned about privacy, pwede ka mag anonymous or invisible mode.

Naa pud diay ni turn by turn navigation. accurate ra pud sa major roads.

***This uses mobile data and GPS as updates are real time.

i'm using this now. mga 1 week palang ko naggamit. so far sige pa kog padako sa akong points kay gamay palang traffic info akong makita sa map. i'm hoping na once i climb up the rank, mas mudaghan info akong makita. i've also joined the cebu group

Nagagamit pud ko ani nga app bro.. At par ni with Nokia Drive, unya real time ang updates.. I think this is going to get a major update kay gipalit na ni sa Google..
