one measure of overpopulation is population density.though we have relatively higher population density with countries our size, it is not exactly that alarming. as d_lightt suggested, we are not necessarily in a state of overpopulation.

only problem is that population density is NOT the only measure for overpopulation. we can say that a country is overpopulated if the resources that it has, and its capabilities to acquire these resources cannot necessarily sustain the inhabitants of that country.

may i again reiterate that the causes of overpopulation is NOT UNILINEAR. it is not simply the lack of education, or the preachings of religion. the problem of overpopulation does not follow a line, but a web of factors that influence and affect each other.

I agree with this statement.

Our country has a total land area of 30 million hectares or 300,000 square kilometers or 300,000,000,000 square meters and a population of 85,000,000. If population density is to be discounted, each citizen has 3,529 square meters to develop and by now our country should have been very progressive if the principle of strength by numbers is to be applied just like China. But unfortunately, more population or the lack of it is not our country’s main problem but inequality of wealth and distribution of opportunity even diminishing quality of education and exploitation of manpower and resources due to corrupt governance. One problem also is skills mismatch; we are not tapping the right resources because we have the wrong people or no people to do the right job.

well i should say that what is lacking is *** education. yeah, *** for pleasure is rampant. with the availability of abortion pills just right around the corner, anybody could just runaway from such irresponsibility. Truth hurts and this is an ongoing FACT. i wish we could tie around the bible in their necks to remind them that *** is sacred. well, that's if there's no other way.
