i guess it has been 93 days since the last post.

It has been awhile but i'll break the ice. hehe..

I just heard of this that there was an attack on three cyclist (not from cebu, so i heard) somewhere near Ayala heights daw some time during the last weekend of january. Two unarmed men on a motorcycle who just "pushed" a cyclist to the side of the road and was about to grab his bike.. Good thing, before the thief could even grab the bike properly, his fellow cyclist removed his seat post (quick-release clamp) as quickly as possible and used his seat post as his weapon.. He was able to hit the thief from the shoulder area and sent them both on the run.. Luckily no cyclist was seriously hurt, The next day (sunday) they went on the same route but this time with a few more cyclist tagged along.. They were never seen again.. Turns out the victim was in the Phil. Army and so was his friend (Victim is a good friend of a fellow cyclist who talked about it while i was in BTC, i just over heard the entire conversation) who were waiting for deployment and had a few days to rest here in cebu before leaving..

how about the ff:
* pepper spray - very handy and attacker's eyes can be disabled, plus he/she will have a hard time to breath. cost is around 250Php more or less
* stun gun - very handy, and attacker should be disabled for a couple of secs/a minute. cost should between 300Php to 1500Php
* knuckles -very handy, and you should be able to use an attack mode on this behalf after attacker is disabled
* knife - i don't advice this one... too scary to carry.
