Dear Dr. Phil,

When I retired, I could hardly wait to spend time enjoying my favorite pastime -- bass fishing. I got my own little fishing boat and tried to get my wife to join me, but she just never liked fishing. Finally, one day at the Bait & Tackle Shop, I got to talking to Sam the shop owner who it turned out loves bass fishing as much as I do. We quickly became fishing buddies.

As I said the wife doesn't care about fishing. She not only refuses to join us she always complains that I spend too much time fishing. A few weeks ago Sam and I had the best fishing trip ever. Not only did I catch the most beautiful bass you've ever seen, only a few minutes later Sam must have caught his twin brother! So I took a picture of Sam holding up the two nice bass that we caught and showed the picture to the wife hoping that maybe she'd get interested.

Instead she says she doesn't want me to go fishing at all anymore! And she wants me to sell the boat! I think she just doesn't like to see me enjoying myself.

What would you do? Tell the wife to forget it and continue my hobby or quit fishing and sell the boat as she insists?

Hi Guys! Sharing with you my experience at TORIL no fishing done just want to find the place. I was there last Saturday morning around 10 am. It is indeed in Canjulao - Lapu lapu very challenging place to go to and i was right mau ni sya ang kanang naay big ship nga naka dock in a very long causeway. Pasulod palang grabe ang dalan ka rocky and gamay kaayu ang dalan;( naluoy ko sa ako sakyanan dala pick up pa gani nga strada wala nako gi go all the way straight kay lisod i backing. I suggest either motorcycle or multicab ang dad on. Dont bring your car gyud kay masangit sangit ka pasulod It was long walk where i left my pick up. But when i reach sa Ship naa murag pantalan where you can see a lot of line fishers iyahay ra ug pwesto mga tawo. i ask sa mga nag fish didto naa daw earlier in the morning nag fishing gadala ug rod taga mandaue daghan kaayu kuha kinsa kaha to? hahaha anyways will bring my rod next time hopefully maka suway na ug live wild fishing. Question what would be the best lure to catch there? i heard kitong and "awman" nga isda daghan didto when i ask the line fisherman.. thanks

ok raman pero ang pasulod batoon and kuyaw masangit imu car kay there's a part nga habog and haait ang mga bato;( better guro if park lang ka somewhere kanang iskina nga gasoline station sa canjulao sabota lang ang tigbantay. then take a trisikad going in. but its a very long walk gyud as in a good ten minute walk to the far end and until you reach the ship. ako plan next time is mag bisekleta nalang mi
