Bro, I would suggest nga pag open lang sa ug account. Usually, it takes 7 working days(holidays, sat and sundays are excluded) ang processing sa mf. Since daghan man holiday ron, basin ma dugay ka sa pag open. I don't have idea sa UITF but sa mf since 4 yrs na man ko sa philequity, per experience ko na lang, so far so good. Philequity fund inc's YTD as of Dec 3, 2014 is 29.67%.

Yes, mutual fund na bro. Ang 29.67% is ang gain na ni Philequity fund inc nga mutual fund from jan 1, 2014 up to that date which is Dec 3, 2014. If nag invest kag P1M pag jan 1, nitubo na ka ug P296,700. Mutual fund and UITF is medyo naay similarity ra na bro. But as what I know, mutual fund is owning of shares while sa UITF is buying of units. I better owned rather than buying just units.
