Everyday taga open nako sa pc.. Ako jud ma bantayan magcge ug increase ang bad sectors? pero ang percent steady lang? 12% nalang cya pero how come walay symptoms sa badsectors? Generally speaking, Dili jud cya Mo Freeze. BTW, unsay cause anang bad sectors? Dara printscreen





Naghuwat nalang jud ko unsay mahitabo igka 0% ani. Curious lang. Naka back up naman sad ko.

Fire naba ni na specs? Walay bottleneck? ganahan ko mag high settings ug kanang mga modern games ron ba?

personally, mixed emotions ko aning HD Sentinel... got a 320GB Seagate diri since Feb 2008, after 4 months, nag 9% health na lang sya... until to this writing. still 9% health. last month lang nako sya nahimo'g data drive after nag SSD ko sa entertainment PC nya. performance wise, wla ra man gyud sya problema. once time, puno kaayo ni sya'g data for more than 1 year ani and at 9% health as reported by HD Sentinel... nag huwat ra ko nya na mo likoy pero, wla gyud. since pag palit nko nya until last month, OS ang data drive sya...

naa'y uban pud na critical kaayo na ang health as reported by HD Sentinel unya, tinuod man pud... after sometime, mo crash na ang HDD. kun dili mag ilis, sowi ang labas... kaning akoang case, basin problematic ni'g firmware akoang HDD... namasin lang ko ani... akoang work around kay... "un-install HD Sentinal" para wla'y critical prompt na makita nato sa rig... hehehehe...

ang akoang bantayan sa HDD na padulong na'g likoy kay saba... unya, mag ka deteriorate ang read & write performance nya... kani kay last stage na pud ni... medyo, late na gamay... experience wise, kaisa pa lang pud ko na gub-an ug HDD... mura'g wla pa ang HD Sentinel ato na time kay taud2x naman to kaayo pud...



about sa spec na imohang gi post, pyr na na bro, wala gyud intawon na'g bottle neck ang pairing kun mag hisgot ta's power sa GPU. pugaon na's i3-2120 ug maayo...gaan ra kaayo nang GTX 750 (Ti and non-Ti variants)... akoang main gaming before, nag GTX 660 SLI (factory OC'ed and w/ manual OC override and GTX 670 SLI reference design w/ manual OC... for the GTX 660 SLI, mga 90% & above ang gipagawas na power sa GPUs w/ the i3-2120 on Crysis 3... at Very High GFX presets w/ 2x MSAA... kun 4X MSAA, hubakon na ang GTX 660 SLI... hehehe... about sa GTX 670, mga 85% and above ang gipagawas nya sa GPUs... sa Crysis 3, Very High GFX presets w/ 4X MSAA... these are all in playing online w/ max player. wla ko maka game ug BF4 on my i3... but BF3, kilawon lang nya together with the pair ug GTX SLIs as i've mentioned. gaan ra man pud nang BF3.

samot nang mga current i3 Haswell ron... power na ni sila compared sa previous Sandy Bridge... but, in playing multi-player online at max present w/ high AA @ 1080p and above and on a pair of powerful GPUs, i recommend, a true quad core GPU as minimum... this is based on my personal experience... the reason why i switched to an i5-2550K ang OCed it to 4.2 to 4.6 GHz whila playing... pares nya kay GTX 670 SLI... then puli2x-han sa R9 270x Hawk Crossfirex...

Naa bay possible ma-apektohan lain parts kung ma hagtos na gyud akong HDD sir? or ang HDD alone lang? curious lang jud ko unsay mahitabo ig 0% . Kung mag ilis pud ko ky dili ko sure kung unsa jud na ka tinood ang greport sa HD sentinel ky bcg 12% nalang health wala gyud cya signs of bad sectors. Parehas sa imong gmentioned nga saba na kaayo ug mag ka deteriorate ang read & write performance nya.

^ naa bro... ang ulo nato ang ma apektohan sa kalagot kay nangawala ang important files labi na, wla maka back-up... hehehe... its funny but true... kun tinuod na 0% health na, dili na maka boot ang rig kay un-readable na ang HDD... kun nag atek2x lang, bisan 0% health, mag function properly pa ang HDD.

if normal ra ang performance on read and write anang HDD nmo, tang2x-nga nang HD Sentinel para dili mag rigor ang utok nimo "But" make sure na mag back-up ka's important files nimo on a regular basis like daily or after every save para "Win-win" situation ba...

not sure pud how HDDSentinel computes for performance/health %. ang importante ra nako ani is smart monitoring and logs. as soon naa notice/warnings, bisan weak sector ra na and i know mawala ra, its a sign na naa issue, whether and drive mismo naa problem, or maybe naa sa data or power connections or power supply or related issues... its up to you to trust hdd sentinel or your own observation since paminaw nmo wala man kaha diay problema...

Hdd sentinel relies with SMART data... Health pertains to the number of weak sectors and number of inaccessible sectors. Also those have been mapped as bad sectors. Bad sectors are physically damaged portions of platter.

Performance depends on how quick the heads can still read every sectors.. Interface health including cache performance

basta back up lang jud sa files bro if dagko na ang drops sa health and performance... whether it's accurate or not, at least we have a heads up.. the only truth is that naay issue sa HDD nato because makita man sad nato sa logs..
