Good Day Everyone! Btw, bout the title of this thread, "How's life when you only have one kidney?", it is directly stated or pointing here to the person who had only one kidney for various reasons. Just like me, I had only one bean-shaped in my body. hehe I was operated when i was around 11 years old (grade 5). One of the significant things happen in my life, there are many adjustments that i made in my life after my operation. No softdrinks, junkfoods, sour foods, even chocolates.hehe and no physical activities at all. I was very active in sports when i was a child esp (basketball). Now, I am 21 years old, (10 years after my operation), I don't feel something bad, or anything that i could say that i have only one kidney. just pretty normal.. my question is, Will it last forever? i mean, if you just dont abuse your body and i know how to take good care of it, will it last? hehe share naman jan who also experienced my agony, also para ma inform pd ang uban dnha, on how kidney is very vital to our body, kanang naa pay duha dnha tawn ka kidney.. take good care of it samtang naa pana dnha

I've heard people selling their kidneys yet still live a happy life. You know how to take care of your body, that's a good start. This kept me thinking though -- no physical activities at all. Does that include walking?

haha i mean too much excessive physical activities, like engaging to sports (basketball,soccer etc) and btw, inborn nani nga malfunction akong left kidney

Hi i also have one kidney i am a kidney donor for my sister who undergo kidney transplant wayback 2005 ako lang mashare kay before our transplant we undergo seminar before the transplant ang the doctor said dapat you will not abuse your kidney bawal daw ang instant noodles, softdrinks, ug abuse ug paracetamol if makaya daw d muinom paracetamol mas maayo so i try my best jud kung labad akong ulo drink lang ko daghan water ingon sila scary daw if mabuntis kay you only have one kidney maipit unya but luckily na sundan amo anak after 4 yrs from our operation okay ra man naka anak ra man ko safely ...
