No need to re-flash the same firmware version. Since OTA won't work on a Jailbroken iPhone, you just need to download the .ipsw file of whichever new firmware you're wanting to update to. Backup first before updating.

DO NOT RESTORE. Just do SHIFT + UPDATE. It will allow you to keep your current apps and settings. However, you will lose your JB tweaks and configuration.

NOTE: There is currently no JB for iOS 8.1.1.
