Mga bossing, ako skyanan Vios 1.5G. unsay maau ani? premium or unleaded?
regular unleaded gasoline - 90-92
premium unleaded gasoline 93-96
special/racing unleaded gasoline 97+
the higher the octane the less chances of engine knock/pinging highly recommended for old models of cars..
premium and racing gasoline has more detergents added as well for engine cleaning purposes...
asa ang mas maayu? personal preference nana kasagaran nga naay uban naay tinuohan which most likely have no hard-proof basis kung nganong mo stick sila ana nga type of gasoline..
actually naka butang na sa manual boss kung regular unleaded ba or premium unleaded ang ikarga sa imong sakyanan.. naa man gud uban nga ang naka recommend kay regular unleaded pero premium jud gamiton tungod sa personal preference.. ok raman japon na if dili nila i mind ang presyo sa gas..
Between petron and shell mas barato man diay ang petron unleaded gasoline and then mas higher octane pod. For example ang pinakabarato sa petron ky ila xtra unleaded (93 rating) vs. Shell fuelsave unleaded (90).
ever since, unleaded gasoline ako gamit sa petron ug shell. so far so good ^_^
sa ako sad nga case is i would always opt for premium unleaded especially ang shell v power nitro+.. pero dili jud religously ko motuman ana.. labi na hilig kog long rides so kung asa maabtan aw adto ra.. naka performance pipe man ko so i can sense nga mas aggressive ang makina if magamit ko ug premium.. did it improve my speed? nope.. power? maybe slightly.. responsiveness? based on my observation yes.. mileage? wa ko ka compute ani.. hehehe.. naay uban ganahan nga calm ilang engine maong they go for regular unleaded lang..
Regular Unleaded (aka Shell Fuelsave) is good for most of the factory stock cars.
You will only be needing higher octane (aka Nitro+ or Nitro+ Racing) if you modified your engine to run higher ignition timing, higher compression, force induction, etc. This is because of the anti pre-detonation properties of higher octane. Meaning it is a bit harder to ignite. Otherwise you'll just be spending more on the pump with no actual gains.
I, for one, run all my non turbo cars on Shell Fuelsave (GA16, 4AF, 3SGE) and the boosted ones on Nitro+ Racing (4G63T, EJ20, 4EFTE).
