In a parallel scenario. Imagine a teacher preaching students about the Bible in a Sunni state to convert into Christianity. Murag nangita ug death sentence. hahahaha.

Well, there are Christians who see other religions as threats but it's not that extreme. Not to the point nga i-obliterate ang entire family, gouging of eyes, decapitation, dismemberment, execution of women, elderly & children, burned through a kiln, etc...

Haha, in fairness, 'interesting' nuon siya motudlo... but then again... concerning factor jud ang pagtudlo niya ug muslim ideology sa 'history' class.

Lol..

I do not know how our fellow Filipino muslim would translate this move,
well it develop nationalistic tendencies, is it to intensify their faith with their religion
    or both.

I remember my history teacher in college, she was sort of defending the muslim way of life of kidnapping people to make them slaves. She says that it was part of their culture. I retorted that so what if it's part of their culture? Does it make it right? I got a grade of 3.0 after that.

Maybe he should try other forms of Christianism instead of muslim. Dili man kaha siya ganahan ug Catholism.

As for the Abu Sayyaf part. The end does not justify the means.

Ang abu Sayyaf? tapulan ug ganahan ra paspas maka kwarta without working hard for it.
I have no qualms about Muslims pushing for their identity and educating people about themselves because to be quite frank, wala ko kaila ug muslim o unsa man ila "origins". We only know certain things that are either sensationalized or rumors. We need untainted facts, or however objective they may be knowing people have their own biases.

p.s. This last statement is not directed at you TS.
