actually a lot happened in the current chapter release of the manga.

Spoilers:

Noitora is ESPADA SINGKO! (and i actually thought he was the strongest like he claims)
Ichi and Noitora about to start a fight. Now Ichigo has to be saved by someone! He just finished fighting with Grimm!
The scientist espada (Allepolo or something) is done dressing up lol. And chapter ends with the scientist espada initializing his release.

I hope the Vaizards (most possible) come and get the Ichi squad out of there. Or Yoruichi/Urahara/Isshin/Ryuuken (probable)/ SS dudes (not likely, though I'd love to see Zaraki)

as far as ichigo being too powerful.. no back story has yet to surface suppoting that but i am also leaning towards the lineage theory...i wanna see his dads shikai...i bet he is probably one of the protectors of the king of soul society mao na nga mas kusgan si ichigo sa mga gotei squads...hehehe just my two cents
