My only concern is your statement above....

If destination is Northern Negros from Cebu City and people here in Istorya will follow your preference believing that it is the easiest route then it is a grave misconception. Just take a look at the map of Cebu and Negros.

I merely inform that there are routes far easier for certain destinations in Negros.

I don't have an axe to grind you.... Chill......

Lastly, you mentioned that there are more than 5 roro routes. Would you mind mentioning them here ... Maybe, I could use them on my drive to Negros next month.
you said you have "been driving for years", you should do yourself a favor and find all those points along the shores..

i can not accept the risk of honest intentions labelled as spreading "misconceptions" by people like you!

here are the choices in going to Negros if you are coming from cebu (as far as i know)

    1. Toledo City - San Carlos City (via Lite Shipping)
    2. Dumanjug - Basak/Guihulngan
    3. Bato - Tampi (via Maayo Shipping)
    4. Tabuelan - Escalante
    5. Liloan port Santander - Sibulan

Magdepende ug asa imu destination adto ka sakay para dli kaayu ka mutuyok sa imo route...pero sa ako na try cheaper ang Bato - Tampi kaysa Toledo - San Carlos...and a little bit cheaper pd sa Dumanjug - Basak/ Guihulngan...dililang ko sure if available na balik ang Dumanjug - Guihulngan sukad atong naigo sa linog last time pero ang Basak is a few kilometers ra sa Guihulngan.

If going to Bacolod, ang Toledo and Tabuelan na route ang nearer...
If going to Dumaguete, and Liloan port and Bato ang nearer...

Please plan ahead lang sa inyu route and include your pit stops like fuel kay naay areas na layu ang mga Gas stations (esp if particular mo sa specific na fuel (brand) na inyu gamit. Additional info lang ni mga bro kay experience na nako nagkaproblema ko asa ko patubil sa ako specific fuel along the way.

Good luck and have a safe trip sa tanan.

    Haha.. No pun intended....

Honest intentions and incorrect information are different from each other.

I'm not against your honest intentions. I'm pointing out the incorrect information (for the benefit of others).

    Anyway, I'm done with you.....

OT: mga bro... end up nana ang inyu lalis... gamay rana na issue... just make it as a healthy debate for this matter... wa nay dumot... ang ato point here is to help a fellow brother sa iya issue and dili ang pagcreate ug lain nga issue... peace na mga bro...gubot na kaayu ang kalibutan para ato pa dungagan ug away2x o lalis2x. let us focus our time and effort to reach out to others nalang.

    to bonsai17i:
yes bro helpful jud c Mr. Google nowadays...pero don't rely too much sa online data bro... kay naa times dli accurate and usa pud naa areas na walay signal... gamita ang paagi nga "asking the locals" for info bro...just like Brgy Halls, Police Outposts, traffic enforcers, etc...they are the ones na swito sa ila lugar and if you will approach them politely mutabang na sila nimu... pero ayaw lang japon kumpyansa bro para naa pakay room for security against sa mga mapagsamantala...

sa ako lang na experienced sa ako monthly trip to Tanjay City
    - Liloan-Sibulan (my prefered since ok ang pantalan, i normally leave 1st trip sa southbus 12AM kapin)
