we shouldn't waste emotional energy on as little as ants, should we. this is just a matter of views. like what i said, this is about respect for life. just so happens that we are talking about ants. para man gud nako, the form is insignificant, it still deserves respect. besides, aren't we a speck of dust in the universe? think about that.

your nick reminds me of Tolkien who loved mythologies and epics and wrote a scholarly piece on Beowulf. I think he loved nature too.
