HELP | External Hard Drive Won't Open

got somewhat the same problem with my 3tb hdd wd green, temp made it as external using a sata to usb adaptor difference is wala ni natagak akoang unit.. what i remember was while trying to migrate files to it naa uban files na wala ni transfer so i tried running "chkdsk" via cmd but cancelled it in the middle of the test. next thing i plugged it in, mo prompt na akong pc to "format" the hdd para magamit. read basin na corrupt daw system file/mbr or na raw format nalang ako hdd.

per hdd sentinel okay paman pud.. bag.o papud ni na hdd, less than a day pa hours and around 40 pa iya startup count.

put it as internal bro

if it needs to be formatted, just cancel it

install EASEUS Partition Master 10

then partition recover

Click start dayon type "device manager" in the searchbox then enter dayon e.double click nang diskdrive dayon ingna ko if makita ba imong external hd. if dli gani, murag knahanglan na jd na nimong ipatan.aw sa atong mga experts..

here's what i find ironic.. mounted it on my work pc and ran HD Sentinel.. still looks like there's no trace of errors/problems. dili diay ni reliable ning HDS? should i buy another HDD and diss this hardisk?

yes, it's sometimes ironic

many times it happened to me the rating just dropped so low

like 58%

then i removed it and put it on another pc

then viola! it's 100% again

and also sometimes, it's the other way around.

Na in-ani pud ako TS. Bag-ohay lang gyud.. Dugay na kaayo maka access sa drive... unsahay e-prompt pako atong format disk.. pero inig tan-aw nako sa health ug performance 100% pa sa HD sentinel.. ako g-buhat TS ky since dili man cya ma right click..

adto lang CMD.. nya type "chkdsk H:/f" pwd rasad ilisdan nmo na ang f ug r.. Kanang letter H ky mao na ang letter sa drive..ilisdi lang kung unsa imoha. try lang na TS ky mao na akong gbuhat.. ma access na nako karon akong external..
