Simple lang and of course pwede nimo magamit online ang imong card as long as ang imong palitan mo dawat sa type of card (VISA, Mastercard, etc). Though naa sad mga debit cards na dili accepted online. One na ako nasuwan na dili accepted online is ang VISA Electron... maybe there's more.
Unsa man ang mga debit cards na imu nabal-an na iaccept online? Kay ka LADYJANE as she stated above kay dili man daw accept online purchase...

We have tried sa debit card sa EON. It works. ^_^ VISA works. And if online purchase imo plano, gamit suway ug paypal... mas secure ang imo transaction and they accept VISA, Mastercard, & many more so Debit cards with VISA, Mastercard, etc. mo work ra.

Regarding Credit Cards, the call centers are not banned on most banks but has different credit rating score. Lets just say, credit rating score is from 1 to 5, and 5 being the highest. When the call centers started the credit rating score was 1 and when banks started to notice un-paid or delayed bills payments, banks gradually raise the credit rating score that it reached the score of 5.

Most banks issuing credit cards, based their rating scores on the ff:
    1. length of work experience - lets say you have been working for 9 years
    2. company you are working for - if you are working with a non reputable company, you get high chances of disapproval
    3. work tenure for existing company - for call centers, I think they must have at least 2 years tenure
    4. gross salary/ net salary - lets say you have a net salary of 25K

Just bear in mind that the moment banks issues a credit card, it it s risk on their part. But you can create a risk free bank relationship and from there, you can build your own credit rating. HOW? You can deposit in a savings account the amount of Php 30k as an example and apply a credit card and that you will have an auto debit arrangement. The bank would gladly issue a credit card for you with a maximum credit allowance of Php 30k as well. From there you can nurture your credit score by paying on time and do not allow the auto debit arrangement to take effect.

Citibank, because of economic depression in the US, can't afford to suffer more losses. It started with the sub-prime then the credit card losses. So how are they gonna minimize risk? By strictly scoring credit card applications.

BPI, take the debit arrangement scheme as well as for the other banks. Remember the Lehmans Brothers incident? So banks right now are tight on credit scores.

Debit Cards is different from Credit Cards, (sa spelling palang different) and both words means different. But has similarity in their own respective transactional proceedings.

Debit Cards is your ATM Card and where you can:
    1. Withdraw Cash - without charges ( except some withdrawal fees )
    2. Purchase items over the counter (at supermarkets and department stores ) or online ( must have the VISA sign)

Debit Cards is Paying in CASH!

Credit Cards on the other hand is where you can:
    1. Withdraw Cash - cash advances is known to have high interest so beware
    2. Purchase over the counter and online

Credit Cards is paying in Cash after the Credit Terms (28days to 45days, depends on the billing cycle)

Paying an online transaction - make sure you have a PayPal account so that your purchase is secure.
