From Matnog port, you take the ferry going to Allen, Samar. From Allen, you will then travel to Tacloban then to Ormoc. There is a ferry boat from Ormoc to Cebu which leaves at 11am but you have to get to Ormoc port before 9am because that is their cutoff time for the loading of the cargos. That was our first time to take that route. We only relied on Google Maps on our cellphones, of course with 3G/4G service.

actually kato kami since we weren't able to take the ormoc-cebu trip, ni adto mi ug baybay then sakay mi ug barge going to cebu.

ang palompon to bogo ky 7:30am den bogo to pal ky 12 noon daily. den sa danao to isabel ky 7am den isabel to danao ky around 12:30 pero inconsistent ila sked. always delayed.

ganahan ko ani na route da cheaper pero long drive jud sya... i've tried the Toledo - Sn Carlos, Bacolod - Dumangas, Caticlan - Mindoro - Batangas route twice..
