[color=navy]@libido, as I posted before in order to SPEAK correctly in English, one should THINK correctly in English and to WRITE in correctly English will definitely help in improving your thoughts in English.

So if you really want to improve your English I sincerely suggest that you practice posting in English at least in this thread. There is nothing wrong with Bisaya (God bless the dialect) but it is IMPORTANT for you to PRACTICE.

Like in this example you shared, please practice correct spelling.

(im) This is supposed to be "I AM" or "I'M" in order to be correct.

(bout) This is supposed to be "about" because "bout" is another English word, a noun that means "a contest or trial of strength, as of boxing."

(gammar) There is no "gammar", it is "grammar".

Unlike speaking in English, writing in English gives a person a chance to REVIEW and CORRECT one's own words. I sincerely suggest that you use the EDIT or MODIFY buttons of your post once you see any of your own mistakes in English to be corrected.

    Wishing you the best.

if that's for speech practice, 20 minutes is the minimum of loud, oral reading. they say that a daily 20-minute oral reading exercises your oral musculature (mouth muscles).

if it's for vocabulary building, for me it doesn't matter how many minutes or hours you are at it as long as you are learning something. take out a sentence, study it, look up the words in the dictionary, and make those your own by constructing your own sentences.

[color=navy]^^One doesn't necessarily need to converse with English-speaking foreigners to improve one's English. One could invite or request help from friends or relatives who are fluent in English to speak in English well.

That's what I did for my youngest brother who though was fluent in writing and constructing English sentences, had a hard time speaking English in a neutral accent.

We practiced often, made it a rule in our interaction/conversation to speak in English and he's improved so much, because it was something he really wanted to achieve.

People and processes can only help to bring one to a certain point, to complete the rest of the way entirely depends on the individual and the desire to achieve the goal.
