^ concrete pero in 3 yrs mobalik ra gihapon og ingon ani hahaha... or puno sa libaong =)
Because it depends on where the electronic device was made..
some brands that are made in japan are imported for both so US and Phils. will have almost the same price.. while some brands that were made in the US that will be imported here in the Philippines will be more expensive since there will be shipping fees for the products..
In addition, Import fees here run about 80-110% on anything imported....That fee is meant to encourage internal production, but doesn't work because the government offers no incentive, loan or grant to help it's people to start a mid size to large business, but it does put a lot of money into the politicians coffers.....
Or frankly speaking, one possible cause would be taxes, corruption, lack of serious competition and a low income customer base... Just IMAO.
tungod sa shipment, then business is business baya
Bakit nakaingon ka nga most are made in Japan?
Sa ngayong panahon kasi gamay nalang kaayo ang mga made in Japan.
Karamihan gigama na sa China oi.
At bakit man pud if third world country dapat mas ubos ang presyo?
Check out Europe prices and you will see how high the prices are compared to that in the Philippines.
Take note also that the prices in the U.S. does not yet include sales tax which could reach upto 12%. There are only 2 states that has 0% sales tax; Alaska & Oregon).
Because in spite of some electronics products being produced here in the Philippines, our market cannot consume a considerable amount of the products that they make. Take for example China and Chevrolet. Because dako kaau sila na market, ang Chevrolet plant nila can sell a vast majority of what they produce to the local market, making it cheaper to sell. Problema nato dinhi kay gamay ra ato market.
D bani cya sa Gen-discussion ? Cause murag nangayo raman ug opinion ang ts. Aw sakto bah.
