WHATS WRONG WITH MY PC- upgrading the rig and its downside

i think 57C is high enough already, did you already replace your thermal paste?

bro, misread that bro.. 57 degrees was my Power temp... not cpu.. but that was my previous psu.. with my new psu.. the reading for power is 48 degrees, cpu is at 40... and yes i already replaced the thermal paste.. pareha ra ba na ug paste ang video card bro.. coz my old vc, well giukab man nako since the fan is not working anymore.. and i saw a dried out thermal paste or something.. pero murag ceramic sya.. what i have is metallic nga thermal paste... can i use it on my vc... 64mb mx440 inno3d geforce 4...

bro, wala ka masultihi sa imong gpaa-uhan sa imong PC na regarding sa imong specs sa imong PC, dli man gud tanan na MOBO na compatible sa 256mb na video card, dat one reasoned more crashed of HDD, im experienced 4 dat problem, im suggest a new HDD used only dis 4ur system files, try 2 change 128mm Video Card.. bro removed ur Video Card and used d built-in Video Card to ur MOBO an observed...

Ive already removed the 256mb vc and use my old 64mb gforce 4 mx440 card and right now, everything is working fine. wala na ni crash. my specs right now is : p4 1.8ghz, mobo: p4vmm2 1.3, 512 pc400 RAM , 80gb Samsung hdd, 64mb gforce4 mx440 inno3d video card. so wala naman nagkaproblema but im still looking upgrading my vc, im really looking if i can find 4x cards or pwede ra diay ug 8x as long as its agp 2.0 kay mao man gud na ang agp nako. it can handle 1.5v cards nya kasagaran man gud sa mga 8x kay 0.8v na so i guess mao siguro ni crash ni ako pc.. incompatible hardware voltages....

hahah ok bro i know.. im already trying to buy a new one right now, sayang man gud kung ipadaplin nalang ni nako ako old pc. im upgrading it para magamit pud and possibly network this one. ..heheh peace! thanks bro for the tip

bro, try ASUS 9550GE (Php 2,350).. I upgraded one of my old rigs a couple of months ago, and this worked fine..

well, you can push for the higher Geforce 7600GS (Php 4,500) but i think it's better to get a new mobo with a PCI-e Slot (and get a PCI-e Vcard) than get one of the higher AGP vcards...'coz it's more cost-efficient that way.

bai sayanga gud sa imung videocard napalit? bag o paman to dba? preho man unta tag specs from mobo to ram ug videocard, backward compatible man unta ng mga 8x to 4x nga agp board. so far wala may problema sa kong system ga multitask pman gani then 24/7 cge download. but im glad ok na imu pc. :mrgreen:
