oist..just got home from CITOM office k na ticketan ko sa IT park..obstruction to pedestrian lane...leche kaau k ang pedestrian lane sa it park nga ako g parkingan k walay stripes..d jud ka mg dahom nga pedestrian lane d i to..atay..

Usrolla is right bout the money issue!! -its a bracket racing.... A lot of pips would think drag is for rich individuals, but its not, though money is still involved... But when it comes to sanctioned (timed) drag racing -its more on consistency... WHo gives a sh#* if you're car is fast but the driver aint that consistent in logging in his time....

As for the RX 7 or 8 thing... 7 has my vote.. especially if its got this wicked vielside kit... Hehehe

Spartan301 mao nay problema sa drag racing karon na himo na na ug bracket racing kay if you look at the history of drag racing pa kusganay ra gyud nag awto they dont give a shit if your consistent or not mao bitaw if anybody wants to race here in Cebu and ganahan mo daog sa bracket racing then simple ra kaayo na enroll mo sa speedtech ka David Chua because so far wala pay ka pildi sa speedtech sa trophies consistent kaayo na ilang drivers. Wala pay ka lupig ana nila. So para nako apil gali ta ug any kind of racing especially drag racing dapat kusog gyud atong auto kalimtan sa ng consistencies kay dili kaayo na importante sa drag racing kay mas importante gali na sa drag racing then ang tibuok Cebu ato na lang pa apilon ug lumba pa gamiton lang nato sila sa ilang multicab di ba 3,500 to 4t ra ang reg. apil na ka lumba HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Usrolla is right.. The point is, though drag is about car speed, its also about the driver.. Talking about time records -you'd have to do 2 runs with a time that's very near with each other -again consistency is involved..
And about enrolling in Speedtech, Im not sure where what you're driving at...

i personally havent tried to win a championship trophy sa drag racing but was able to place third and i could say concictency is the key to win.....and bsag wala pako mka daug ug trophy i admire those people who have won always sa drag race ky they are good drivers.. regardless unsa cla nga team mo salute ghapon ko ky maayo cla mo drive. ky ang point sa bracket drag racing is consistency. and its not easy to be consistent.

so if ang drag race is only for speed then only those who are willing to spend hundreds of thousands or even millions ra ang mka join. so do u think mo last ni sya nga sport? i think no. coz only few could afford. dont u think its fair nga naa bracket racing at list daghan ta mka join ani nga sport?

usrolla- mao na akong point if you really understand and research the history of drag racing ang pasabot anang drag is the fastest car to reach the quarter mile. And exactly my point is kung consistency lang atong storyahan maypa multicab na lang akong pa lumbaon stock tanan dili pa lisod. If I have a 16 second car its a relatively slow car now why in the hell would I join a drag racing event? haron lang maka apil? and if class D ko dapat lang consistent gyud akong driving syaro maylag Class A na medyo lisod na e control ang auto. Akong point guys any kind of motor racing GASTO gyud na coz trust me if everyone says polo and equestrian is a sport for the rich because of the horses but trust me wala na ka kumingking ng mga kabayo sa mga auto. So in any motor sports please dont ever forget speed is the most important, it should be the first thing on your list. Even drifting needs enough more power so that it will drift.

for me ang naka bati sa dili bracket na racing. kay dili na maka apil ang mga slower cars/streetcars..etc.. compared sa mga naka full race na cars.. well atleast in bracket racing every enthusiast will be given A chance to know the adrenaline sport.. though most people only respect the winners from class b to a and quick 8.. i have to agree on everybody here sa mga comments and ideas inyo gi share everything makes sense..

OT:but in drifting power isnt the only thing you need to be able to go side ways.. you realy need skills, guts, experience/exposure and mostly you have to realy know your car. also in drifting, the power you need will depend on your car and the tire size you plan to drift.

yeah i do understand ur point bro. but since the drag racing we have is bracket racing so might as well grab the opportunity to join while pwede ky uhave the chance of winning. im not joining this just for fun but for the love of the sport and the passion for drag racing but though with limited resources.

its a toyota engine. usually ang gi taoran ani is corolla levin or trueno.....so far before i have a corolla nga nka 4agze. but now akng fren nga nka 4agze gi condem na nya ang supercharge pero gi turbo na niya.
