The 7600's igpu should lie slightly below the R7-250 ddr3 and above the HD 7730 ddr5 which are 2 tiers apart. So it should be around 2 tiers slower than a 550ti, around GT730 64-bit ddr5 performance.

u saying a 550ti will outperform the integrated graphics of the a8?

I stand corrected, the 550 ti should be significantly faster. I was looking at it as a combo, Q8300 + 550ti with the 550ti being held back cause of the processor.

He said nga okay ra daw ang a6 or a8 ba to for regular office work and htpc duties. BUT ni ingon siya kung mu game daw ka, grabe daw mu init and area near the processor, opposite side of the ram slots, kana ABOVE the processor slot and to its LEFT i think those are called the VRM components, consisting of capacitors and mosfets. grabe daw mu init to the extent dili daw mahikap. an aftermarket cooler will not solve the problem daw kay ang motherboard man ang mu init daw. to the extent mu pawng kuno ang system kung mu game ka....
i asked sad that what if i directed a 120mm fan directly into the area, and he said it helps very little dili daw maka apas.

he said that if i want to game with an APU, i should choose a motherboard with beefier heatsinks in this area and not those motherboards with exposed components.....

i kinda need to know the truth about this since im considering to change my HTPC/Light gaming rig into an APU based system.

so the processor in this case bottlenecks the 550ti.

I shouldnt think so. The 550ti is barely a modest gpu, hardly capable of graphic configurations taxing enough for the processor to support. Besides, the Q8300 is already a quadcore. It should be able to support the 550ti up to 60fps.

Check this Q8300 review with gaming performance using a 4870 (equal to 550ti)

tried to overclock the Q8300 and hit the FSB wall at 343 from 333 not by much. maypag wala nalang. wala gani ka overclock of 100mhz.
its my board. the Asrock g41c-gs is a bad overclocker.
whether its my board my crap ass generic PSU, i dont know for sure, pero inig restart, dili mu sulod sa bios dayun, kinahnglan pa i-manually off (5 second press of power button) nya kinahanglan i-pull power plug to get tthe system to boot to bios.
samok na, maypag dili nalang mag overclock kung mao ra ang gains.

so crap na for gaming ako CPU.....
