well, it looks like most people chooses to follow it. hence the turmoil in those nations. if people were more educated and access to information was readily available, a lot of this nonsense about religion can be avoided.

That's what is going on in the world right now... new cool kids don't believe religion as much as 50 yrs ago anymore because information good or bad is right under your fingertips now. I can't say that's a good thing nor a bad thing as well. The more I grow old the more I realize the world can't be saved... you can only protect the closest and the one's that you love from that chaotic world.

Well that also means what you say doesn't matter as well.

That's what I see wrong... the need to discuss what they believe in and shoving people beliefs in someone else face.
But I guess most people here argue just for the sake of passing time. That's what I noticed for the past years I've been a member in any forum.

First of all, we were not discussing atheism, we were discussing more on evolution.

And the choice is yours to follow it or not... things you see wrong doesn't make it right just because a bunch of people think it's right.
But in the point of all this, religion and division of countries is not the cause of hatred. Hatred exist because human feel love. If only we can remove love from our minds hatred won't exist. If only everybody love each other then hatred doesn't exist. But we all know that's impossible to happen.

Abi nimo migo kung ang usa ka Christian magbuhat ug butang dili mao like pagpatay, pangawat, it is in violation to the fundamental teachings of Christianity while if an Atheist magbuhat ug butang nga dili mao like pagpatay as long as its for the benefit of his survival, walay problema para niya coz there;s no basis of morality to begin with.....it is in keeping with his belief like survival of the fittest.
