Need Help. Monitor black out randomly.

boss. i tried to use onboard graphics with the same cable pero mao ghapon ang result then I tried another chord, bam! working perfect so far.

gamiton ko ni for five hours para makita jd ang resulta.

i changed the cable and nabalik ra ghapon ang problema. and nasulbad ra jd nako.

here's the real cause and fix
- nagtapok tanang appliances sa usa ka extension wire (monitor, pc, speaker, fridge). nabantayan nako nga everytime mo andar ang motor sa fridge (kanang murag moflicker nga sound), mapawng sad dayon ang monitor for 1 - 3 secs and mabalik ra sad. giibot nako ang fridge kay feel jd nako nga mao toy hinungdan. it sound stupid for me at the first pero ako jd gitry. nafix jd ang problema. i don't know how to explain it electronically kay dli man ni akong field pero atleast makahatag kog idea ninyo basin makasugat mo ug inani nga problema soon

finally, ako dayon gisearch ang problema. and naa juy mga taw nga nakaparehas nakog case which makes me contented sa akong gibuhat. And, mas sensitive daw ang dvi kaysas vga. mao guro tong wala nioccur ang problem pag change nakog chord (VGA).

Lipaya nako. i hope makatabang nis uban

usually gud, ang pc is not directly connected to wall/extension outlet, mo agi pa ug avr or UPS . naa kay avr? mas maayo mag avr ka or ups w/ avr para sure jud. kanang ig andar sa imo fridge mao ata na time na mo andar iya compressor which draws huge current.. (tagna tagna ra sb ni akoa di ko electronics xpert hehe). i buwag na imo fridge ug laing extension wire.

@alwaysdrunk mao jd na akong nabasahan sa ubang forums boss.. unplugged pa karon among fridge. so far wala jd nioccur ang problem. etry to nako unyag balhin ug laing outlet kay gayawyaw akong mama kay nangapan.os among sud.an.. hahahahaha

if mobalik ang problema inig plug sa fridge, palit kog avr

Pariha sa ako. pero ang whole house ma off. ang circuit breaker jud mo off basta daghan naka load sa mga plug diri sa amo. nya duda nako nipis ning wiring sa balay maong mo off ang circuit breaker para ma prevent ang overheating sa wires. ig hikap nako sa circuit breaker( ang surface ra sa breaker ha) init init. permi ko ma paongan diri hasol kaau. maong i check nako every time unsay naka plug sa mga outlit. if naay something dili gamiton akong i unplugged para lang sure di ko ma pawngan mag duwa.

anyway check sad mos mga wiring sa balay if BAga ba or nipis. kong nipis mo init daun ang wire maka cause og sunog sa balay. Maygani naay circuit breaker among gi puy-an ron. naay ubang balay wala raba. planka which ang fuse ang mo buto.

electromagnetic interference na cya or EMI/RFI. motors, power tools ug uban pa mo conduct na cla ug electromagnetic waves nga mosud sa mga nearby electrical appliances nga mo interfere sa normal operation. mao nga ang mga electrical devices labi na ang mga cables properly shielded gyud na cla pra malikayan ang EMI/RFI. use double or braided shield dvi's.

Ing-ani sad akoa. Moflicker ang monitor bisan i change lang ang speed sa electric fan. Ngita pako original DVI cable kay dili sakto ang shielding sa kanang mga no name DVI connectors sa mga shop. Gamit nako kay DVI to VGA connector as of the moment.

wow. very well said boss.. gisuway na nako ug tuslok sa laing outlet ang fridge but mao ra ghapon ang problema. now, the fridge is unplugged and wala jd nitukar ang problema. mailhan man sad nga ang fridge maoy nakacause sa problema kay makadungog man kag shutter sound inig andar sa iyang motor/compressor and that's when the monitor turns off. palit kog bag.ong cable karong hinapos and let's see the results. makasolve ba sad kaha ang avr aning problemaha?

Ing-ani sad akoa. Moflicker ang monitor bisan i change lang ang speed sa electric fan. Ngita pako original DVI cable kay dili sakto ang shielding sa kanang mga no name DVI connectors sa mga shop. Gamit nako kay DVI to VGA connector as of the moment.
