I'd rather listen to a geneticist/evolutionary biologist and their related fields when it comes to DNA issues.

if you believed what he was talking about DNA you clearly had not read much about it., evolution is not about the number of Chromosomes we have, or the number of genes, for if one would say that aw, it would seem that a piece of corn is more evolved than us in every aspect, which is pretty much a ludicrous thought indeed...

it's not about the number of DNAs, it's about how these DNAs are synchronized to form a being, and that perpetual genetic force that molds DNA's to form apex species and improve them from time to time is really what evolution is all about..

One may argue that a piece of corn has more DNA than humans, but pieces of these corn DNAs does not have in them the encrypt to bring about brains, or hands, or ears, and much of these DNA's are dormant, hence it's humble genetic produce, the corn..

to put it in perspective, take for example an artist and an ordinary person is given the task to create art, the former given only red, blue, and green, and the latter given all colors of paint.. can you say that the latter can produce better art because he had more paint? certainly not.. that's what DNA is all about.. it's not really about the number of DNAs, it's about how these DNAs are synchronized..

like i said i do not deny some of the events and people that are depicted in the bible. the events happened, the places are there and people existed BUT the portrayal in the bible of HOW exactly the events occurred is very sketchy and fairy tale like. and like my previous post, a lot of the stories in the bible are borrowed. meaning there have books long before the bible that depicts exactly the same story. So we just have to believe everything in the bible despite the many contradicting accounts from different people? even the story of jesus christ borrowed from the egyptians. go read about horus and isis, you will notice how startlingly similar is their story with jesus despite pre-dating the bible a couple of hundred of years.

a religion that does not allow you to use basic common sense to dissect and try fully understand what they claim is very suspect. the fact that knowledge is shunned upon, as with the story of adam and eve, is a clear indication of an intent to be deceitful.
when you are given hard facts and evidence to support a claim, that is where you use common sense to decide which is believable. again religion will only demand you to not question the divine. you see the difference? apparently knowledge and common sense is not allowed in religion.
