i'm happy with r9 280x sa bf4 mantle mka 80-100fps ko but na enganyo ko sa gtx 900 series lol. but let's see unsa ang announcement sa AMD.

Wla nako gi max settings bro i'm running at 1080p high settings kay if i ultra settings nako mo RED Screen sya w/c is a known issue sa BF4 very frustrating this is not just the issue sa BF4, it's a nice game pero daghan kaayo og labad. ,and also the reason i get the AMD card it's because ni take advantage lang ko sa Mantle hehe since mostly i played Battlefield 4.

^ ah i see bro... so far, good gyud kaayo nang R9 280x or any offering from AMD in terms of pricing... ang energy consumption sila gi patay ron... but, kun mag dual GPUs, mura'g ang AMD pa ang nice kay ma tulog ang isa ka GPU basta dili mag games or render (if the apps will support multi-GPU)... kun windows desktop lang or office application and even multi-media, matulog man ang isa... so, electricity wise, maka save ta... kun Nvidia, mag dagan man ug the same speed ang multi-GPUs...
anyhow, kun i translate nato'g actual electricity bill, gamay ra man gyud ang difference kay wla man mag dagan @ full load on a 24/7 ang rig... basta lang , dili ta mang compare ug energy consumption on the GPUs with 2 level difference.. or ang mag compared ud mid level to a high level offering...
about sa Mantle, as usual, wla ko mo bilib... ubos man ang FPS sa akoang mga AMD GPUs on Crossfirex basta mag gamit ko'g Mantle API in playing BF4... basin tungod ni sa models na gamit nako. if higher models, basin turn the tables ang performance between Mantle and DirectX APIs... DirectX API ra gamit nko in playing BF4...
kaning BF4 man gud, bug-at ni sya'g GFX labi na mag multi-player online @ max (64 players)... ang akoang manually OC'ed R9 270x Hawk in Xfirex with an OC'ed i5-2550K @ 4.2 GHz, naa ra sa 70 ~ < 90 fps sya on DirectX API. kun mag mantle ko, naa ra sa 65 ~ < 80 fps... tsk tsk tsk... kun mag GTX 670 SLI @ stock & 10% OC (on both core & mem freq), naa sya sa 90 ~ > 100 fps...Last edited by lloyd_joy; 09-23-2014 at 10:22 AM.

Unless AMD finds a way to lessen power consumption murag paka man gyud ni cla.. maski m.anah ka nga performance wise m.lamang ang AMD. imagine GTX 980 cuts power to half than that of the GTX780.. ang power per watt anah daan bawi nah sa decision making.. I'd rather save a few bucks on electricity bill than gain a few FPS. Plus the lesser heat the more auto OC the card does. DMD.. lubong AMD ani..

Mangutana unta ko ba, kay wala man ko kapalit sukad ug mga 0db or 'fan not spinning at idle' na gpu. Dili kaya ni maka daot sa ubang parts sa gpu? I'm looking at MSI ug ASUS Strix, ang ilang features naa ato, pero naa bay way na mu spin ang fan maskin na low rpm lang?
