it is because employers are SUPPOSED to pay 200% more if we work on special holidays and 30% if a holiday..

Usually day-offs (if we follow America time) are Sundays and Mondays

NOW.. since it's moved on a Monday.. this means no more Holiday pays..

Am so sorry to hear about that...
As for me, I like this new holiday scheme since it gives me time to go out of town over the long weekend.

MAO NAI HINUON AMPAI sa mga istudyante hehee......bsag dili i move sa monday ang holiday once ma apektahan og holiday wala gyuy klase ana.... kung ganahan kag naai klase ig monday bsag holiday.. pwede man ka mo request og special permit na mag klase mo ig ana na adlawa... if tudtan ka hinuon (this applies to your teacher) kung student ka.. pwde ka mo request sa faculty og special class sa saturday to catch up with the topics that your behind heheh....

with some college na serious on meeting curriculums or class sched. hasol na sa teacher...and students (this students do not know) the students will suffer for the holidays....
hahaha and to think they are paying for the course....shouldnt they make use of this...I didnt mind in high school though kay libre man mi sa tuition...pero sa nagbayad wala ninyo makuha ang worth sa inyong gibayad....

Timan-i nag eskwela mo para sa futue kintahay ninyo. ngano man naglisod lisod man ug bayad inyong mama ug papa, kung wala mo nagtarong.

I am not happy with this news. PGMA didn't consider the education sector especially the college level. There are classes held only on MONDAYS (especially for laboratory classes which is once a week). Imagine, for this month of august, we get to meet only on august 13 monday since the aug6 (province chartered day), aug 20 (ninoy) and aug27 (national hero's day) are holidays na She should have declared RA 9492 last summer so the schools can adjust their schedules haaaaaaaaayy wala nakoy mahemz!

mam a liitle bit info lang....school days/holidays and other related school activities(school calendar actually) were done as early as first semester before the next school year! like for example for school year 2007-2008....ang pag plan ana is done during the first semester of 2006-2007! pero naa na silay mga measures nga kon naa gani i declare special holiday or naa bay bagyo....ready nana sila tanan....so kung summer ni gi announced nahimo na sad daan ang school calendar....trivia lang.....charrr....!!!

on topic: i dont know kung unsay effect ani sa economy...dili pa ni makita karon cguro nga year! naa pa nay chance i amend na sad na...waaa!
