Problem is, if this goes out of hand, might turn sectarian back home in Fiji as they also have a Muslim minority...

Funny daghang isog ani nga thread dah. I've been working with soldiers from the AFP and i know what they're capable of. I find it unfair para sa AFP because some people here are giving negative comments about our soldiers and i doubt if these people even had a single minute in actual combat.

For info about angelo dela cruz, it wasn't the decision of our soldiers deployed there to pull out from iraq.it was the decision of the government and they're duty bound to follow orders.

politicians are the ones who declares/start wars. Soldier are there to fight those wars.

Your comment is totally reverse to what happened in the above scenarios. We may be jerky, submissive, and jolly folks. But if oppressed and persecuted down to a corner, we fight like wild boars, till the last drop of blood.
Battle of Hill Eerie, (I think FVR led a platoon in the retaking)--Americans withdrew from the hill then the Chinese took it, Filipinos did a lot of the dirty work retaking the hill, and then was instrumental again when the Chinese tried to take it back.

Sa "escape" lang jud ni maayo ning mga pinoy soldiers, If China will invade palawan tomorrow and will surround the pinoy soldiers there, wala pay alas kwatro naka sibat na na sila and the retreating soliders will be hailed as "heroes" by Filipinos. lols.

And the sad thing is, The AFP doctrine sees a retreat during a war as a "Glorious" thing to do.

    Damn useless cowards.

Isoga gud nimo mu name calling ug "bayot" sa atong mga sundalo bai?

AFP in general, and the Filipino contingent with UNDOF in particular deserves some respect.. if they have not earned yours, they have mine. I presume the only battles you have fought are in the computer. Try it in actual combat.. aleh... kuyog ka?

they escaped after 7-hour gun battle being outnumbered and outgunned whilst killing 3 rebels...i call it tactical retreat...

the fijians have trained in national defense university in China...mao diay kadungog ug buto surrender dayon...

"Brown said he couldn't be sure how well trained the Fijians have been since the coup. He said he was aware they had been doing some training at a national defence university in China, which has become a close ally to Fiji in recent years."
