Yup, I know bay noy, unsaon ta man die-hard apologist man ni akong amigo Protestante hehehe...

haha! fan pud diay ka sa davinci code bai..
these supposed gospels were dismissed by the church as heresies because they did not confirm with how the Apostolic Church Traditionally viewed Jesus unlike the 4 canonical gospels.
mao nay purpose sa against heresies ni St.Irenaeus in the 2nd Century.
Ang imong grefer ang Gnostic gospels?

child abuse? was there such a law back then that marraige is only for above 18?
ancient cultures would consider a girl as a woman and is already fit for marriage soon after they began menstruating.
now, girls back then get their first period during mid or late teenage years
unlike girls in recent years..nutrition and culture are probably some of the few if not many factors why there's such a difference..
pwede pud corrupting minors bai noy in modern standards? so meaning if ang girl magmenstruate even before her teen years, there's a possibility that she'll be a wife soon? (I'm quite sure though that there's an exception of this anatomical changes of a woman that normally occurs during their mid or late teenage years.)

haha! i'd like to see you back your claims up with proof that Joseph had 5 concubines if that's what you're trying to pull.
Well to be specific bai noy, the names of Joseph's teenage virgin "friends" were: Rebecca, Sephora, Sussana, Abigea, and Zahel. Mary's midwives who took care of her inside the cave were Zahel, and Salome. Just like doubting Thomas, there's also a doubting Salome, who was skeptical that the baby inside Mary's womb was indeed God's. So the moment she forced her hand inside Mary to touch the baby, her hand immediately withered, and Salome asked forgiveness to the Lord who in return restored back her hand.

Lol kinsay nag ingun nimu ana bai? hehe

Lol mao2x ra nis cave, dragon ug 2 boars..hehehe
Ingani ni bai noy, a census was ordered by an edict of Caesar Agustus so Joseph and Mary had to go to Bethlehem because both of them were from the tribe of Judah. On their way, they've stopped and rested inside a cave after meeting a very bright, shining child. On their 3rd day inside the cave, Mary gave birth, and every animals close to them kneel, and bowed before the holy child.
Sheperds also came by and worshipped the son of God. After 1 week, the family proceeded to Bethlehem.
Ako nalang ni gi summarize kai taas man gud.

modern standards? we're talking about ancient customs man gud bai..
..so the problem with your argument is that you are concluding ancient acts and customs as something immoral using our current moral standards..dili man na pwede..hehehe..
"so meaning if ang girl magmenstruate even before her teen years, there's a possibility that she'll be a wife soon?"--this is very unlikely..
like i said bai..girls back then probably get their first period during mid or late teenage years..hence mao ilang basehan if dalaga na ang usa ka babae.
this is even evident with girls in the 70's and 80's.. dugay pud sila..unlike sa mga younger generations nato karun..probably tungod sa gipangkaon or sa culture pud..i research pa nimu.hahaha

i could still remember being shocked when my 11-year old niece shared how upset she was for not being admitted to the cinema for the recently premiered "rurouni kenshin" movie disputing that she should've been admitted daw kay "gidugo" na siya? Lol so i responded with.."ha?! mao ba?" hahahaha...
shocked, 'cause i was used to the idea that girls wouldn't get their first menstruation until they reached their teenage years..well at least that's the norm that i used to know back in the days..and i'm not that old either..Lol so you can just imagine how things were in the days of Mary..

initially i preceived it as some sort of another version of the nativity story..
and that there were other virgins...in the house of Joseph? ? ? hahaha..
hence i said i'd like you to back your claims up with proofs...
    now i'm just confused.. Lol

No culture and tradition goes side by side with religion. For example, some people long ago used to worships deities and as a demonstration of devotion they offered fruits, food, etc anything of value that they think would make entity they worship happy. Now the question is if they shifted their faith towards Jesus Christ then do the same are they sinful? even though their intention is a gesture of veneration?. That is already an act to glorify Jesus Christ why someone criticized and censure such, do we have standards followed to Love Jesus Christ? is the Love between Jesus Christ and Humankind conditional?.

    Some examples here.
Paganism is a highly controversial subject. Can we use pagan customs in the church of God? We already do. Simply because something has a pagan origin does not mean that it is sinful to use it, even for a religious use.

Wedding rings were and are a pagan custom, and there is no biblical command for them, but we use them in church-sanctioned ceremonies.

Wedding ceremonies themselves were also a pagan custom, and are not commanded in Scripture.

Funerals include pagan customs, too, based on erroneous ideas about the afterlife. Scripture says nothing about putting flowers on graves, etc. Egyptian mythology said that the dead should be embalmed, and Joseph participated in this custom (Gen. 50:2-3) despite its pagan origin.

Pagans created statues — of animals and people, both life-size and miniatures. They had statues in their flower gardens and statues in their homes. But statues have lost their "pagan" connotations because people do not believe in such gods and goddesses anymore.

Money has pagan designs on it. Some U.S. coins used to have the goddess "Liberty" on them. Dollar bills have an eye over a pyramid.

Pagans assigned days of the week to different gods, and we still use these names.

So the question arises, How careful must we be in weeding paganisms out of our lives? Where do we draw the line? The answer is, different Christians draw the line in different places. We need to allow some diversity on these issues.

ay mao jud d.i ni imong pinakapangutana how far do we draw the line?.. hehehe.. para nako wa man problema ana as long as di na makalapas sa gitudlo sa Ginoo. Mao ni focus ko sa worship kay as long as the rituals and beliefs di nimo e incorporate sa imong worship way problema. With regards anang offering naa man sad na sa bible so I don't see a problem there.

Dust + Power of God = Man

Dust of minerals and elements from earth.

Most of the human body is made up of water, H2O, with cells consisting of 65-90% water by weight. Therefore, it isn't surprising that most of a human body's mass is oxygen. Carbon, the basic unit for organic molecules, comes in second. 99% of the mass of the human body is made up of just six elements: oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus. You may also wish to view the element composition of an average human body by mass.

    Oxygen (65%)
    Carbon (18%)
    Hydrogen (10%)
    Nitrogen (3%)
    Calcium (1.5%)
    Phosphorus (1.0%)
    Potassium (0.35%)
    Sulfur (0.25%)
    Sodium (0.15%)
    Magnesium (0.05%)
Copper, Zinc, Selenium, Molybdenum, Fluorine, Chlorine, Iodine, Manganese, Cobalt, Iron (0.70%)
Lithium, Strontium, Aluminum, Silicon, Lead, Vanadium, Arsenic, Bromine (trace amounts)

Apil ang tubig para maka produce ug clay.

(Job 10:9) “Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again?”

From the book "The Other Gospels" by Bart Ehrman. Akong duda usa ra ni ka version ang Nativity Story, gi cut and paste lang para more appealing sa Kristyanos.
